Mascara Review!

I never leave the house without mascara, even when I'm going to check the mail.  I've tried many and some have failed; spider eyes, clumps, sticky lashes, the list goes on and on...  I only buy waterproof because I tear up a lot and hate running mascara.

Here are my favorite mascaras, and one not so much:

Covergirl Lash Blast

CoverGirl LastBlast Volume Blasting Waterproof in Black $7.99

This is my go to mascara.  No clumps, big, bold lashes (without inserts, like the commercial....read the fine print....) The brush is big and you get great coverage.

Maybelline Full 'N Soft Waterproof Mascara, Very Black 311
Maybelline Full N Soft Waterproof

Maybelline Full N Soft Waterproof in Brownish Black $6.99

This mascara lives up to its name, my lashes are full and soft (looking).  When I've put this on vs my Cover Girl Lash Blast in Black Brown, this wins for daytime for a no makeup look.

Maybelline Volum'Express One By One Mascara, Blackest Black 255
Maybelline One by One VolumExpress

Maybelline One by One VolumExpress Waterproof in Blackest Black $8.99

This is a great mascara.  You don't have to work at it to get good coverage and separated lashes.  If I'm going out, 2 coats does the trick and no clumps.

BADgal Lash Mascara
Benefit BADgal Lash

Benefit Bad Gal Lash in Black $19
I'm not a fan.  The color is great, but you have to work at it to get separation and coverage.  1 coat is not sufficient for going out and 2 coats enters the clump stage.  Good thing I used my Sephora points to get the deluxe sample to Black and Plum.  I wouldn't buy the full size, there are too many drugstore brands with great results.  I recently tried Benefit's They're Real Mascara, stay tuned for my review.

  2. Lash Blast is the best. Lash Blast Lengths is also great and not as thick. ~ Nicole
