Review: CoverGirl Smoky Shadow Blast

CoverGirl ShadowBlast in Onyx Smoke - $9.49

What is it?
CoverGirl ShadowBlast expertly matched shades makes doing a smoky eye easily achievable.

Why did I buy it?
I wanted to see if this could really make smoky eyes easy to do. I chose the Onyx Smoke shade.

Should you sample this?
As you can see from the pictures, the colors are glittery. The formula is really creamy and you definitely have to use primer because it will disappear. I tried blending the colors with my favorite Sigma E40 brush after application and the darker color disappeared completely. This can be good if you make a mistake and need to erase. Its not so good if you want to blend. I'm not a fan of cream shadows but I would use this in a pinch if I wanted a defined eye in a flash (with primer!!).

If you are looking for a quick, smoky eye coordinated color stick, you should sample this ~ Tamiko

Full disclosure: I didn't use primer in these pictures and added CoverGirl Waterproof LashBlast in Black.

CoverGirl can be purchased anywhere health and beauty products are sold and at big box stores like Target and Walmart.  For more infomation, visit CoverGirl.com.

Top Color: Rounded side; Bottom Color: Pointed tip

Notice when the darker color is applied to the crease, it turns purple.
