Why did I buy this?
I wanted to try the blow dry cream to see how it compares to Hair Rules Blow Out the Kinks.

Should you sample this?
First let me say, this blow dry cream is $22 for 3.9 oz.  That's a little pricey in my book.  I applied the blow dry cream after I washed my hair with WEN.  The cream is on the thick side and I used about a quarter size and applied to just my roots.  It took longer to dry my hair (normally 20-25 mins, with this blow dry cream 40 mins, next time I'm going to use less).  I didn't notice a significant difference in smoothness until day 2.  I wrap my hair at night and when I combed it out on day 2 and each day after, my hair was noticeably smoother.  As far as how it compares to Hair Rules Blow Out the Kinks - I like Hair Rules for straightening my new growth and this cream for its smoothing properties.  Full Disclosure: I flat ironed my hair using Carols Daughter Heat Protection Gloss and Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum.  If you are looking for a blow dry cream to help with smoothing your styles and don't mind the price, you should sample this.
