Wash Day: LUSH Jasmine and Henna Fluff Ease

I rarely find a holy grail hair product but this is a winner.  I'm always looking for a hair treatment and stumbled upon this on the LUSH website.  I was already a fan of R&B as a moisturizer so I decided to try this.  First of all it's $24 for just under 8 oz.  That is EXPENSIVE in my book so it better work.  The sales associate said I could get 3 uses from this jar (making it $8 per use).  Sometimes I'm able to stretch it to 4 uses...

Directions (from lushusa.com)Apply generously to dry hair, leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, and then shampoo out. Use about a quarter of a pot for short hair, or about half a pot for longer hair. Those with very long hair should use the whole pot. (Yes, it is a lot, but the effects are long lasting and well worth the investment.) -from lushusa.com

This is my pre-poo treatment so I use this on dry hair and once my hair is coated I sit under my Huetiful steamer for 20 mins.  You can also use a hot head thermal cap or warm towel over a plastic cap.

The first use of this treatment made my hair so soft and the side of my hair that doesn't curl quite right has started to get with the program.  I've noticed a difference if I don't use it so I make sure to have time to do this treatment.  My curls are more defined and less frizzy as well.  The only negative is the smell... I'm not a fan of jasmine but it doesn't linger so its not a deal breaker.

Needless to say it works as I'm on my 6th jar...the sales associates at the Lush on 34th Street in NYC are starting to recognize me.  Bonus - if you return 5 empty jars you'll receive a free fresh face mask.

This Jasmine and Henna Fluff Ease can be purchased at Lush boutiques and at lushusa.com
