Wash Day: Carol's Daughter Marula Curl Therapy and Curls Goddess Curls

Overall Thoughts:

I like to keep my styling routine to one brand.  In this case I've had a few single brand leave ins and stylers so mixing seemed like a great option to use what I have.

Before I put these on my hair, I did a test to make sure it wouldn't flake.  The test is rubbing together a dime size of each product in my hands.  If it turned white or clumped, I knew it would likely flake.  These two products passed the test and remained clear.

For my wash and go routine, I separate my hair into three sections. The back section (behind my ears) and two front sections (parted down the middle).  I use the rake and smooth method: I divide each large section into smaller subsections and rake the product through from roots to ends.  I usually air dry.

The styling and diffusing lotion is smooth and smells like roses.  There are lots of oils in this cream; Marula, Jojoba, Olive, Sweet Almond, all providing essentials nutrients for my hair to absorb.  There's also Honey and Shea Butter for moisture.  I used a dime to a quarter size for each large section on damp hair.

The Goddess Curls gel was not sticky at all, it is very smooth so I didn't think it would provide much hold.  It also has shea butter and aloe vera juice so I was confident my hair would be extra moisturized.

After my hair air dried.  I applied a few pumps of the softening serum to my ends.  My hair has a soft hold and my curls are very defined.

This style lasted about a week.  I slept with a satin bonnet.

Carol's Daughter Marula Curl Therapy and Curls Goddess Curls: If you are looking for soft hold and moisturized defined curls, you should sample this!

These products were purchased by me and the opinions are my own.

Until next time...make today amazing!!!
